Research History
Dr. An is a well-established orthopaedic educator and researcher. He has published more than 100 papers / book chapters, more than 200 abstracts, and six reference books including Orthopaedic Issues in Osteoporosis, Internal Fixation in Osteoporotic Bone, Mechanical Testing of Bone and the Bone-Implant Interface, Handbook of Bacterial Adhesion, and Handbook of Histology Methods for Bone and Cartilage. Dr. An served as the director of Orthopaedic Research Laboratory at the Medical University of South Carolina. (The photo below was taken in the summer of 2004)
Current Research
Currently Dr. An holds an Associate Professor position at Northwell Zucker School of Medicine, Long Island, NY and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Clemson University, Clemson, S. Carolina.
