Dr. An's education effort:
Dr. An has a career-long effort for teaching. During his tenure in Charleston, SC, he was a dedicated educator to medical students and orthopaedic residents. He regularly gave lectures to orthopaedic residents, medical students, and bioengineering students at Medical University of South Carolina, University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and Clemson University. Many of them have published research articles with Dr. An.
During his career at Northwell Health System in Long Island (2011-2018), he was actively involved in clinical teaching of medical students, family medicine residents, orthopaedic physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Continued education effort:
Dr. An maintain his enthusiasm in teaching medical students and residents. Currently he holds an Associate Professor position at Northwell Zucker School of Medicine, Long Island, NY and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Clemson University, Clemson, S. Carolina. Dr. An welcome high school students, college students, medical students, and residents for their interest in following him in his office or their interest of doing medical research.
